OUR HISTORY David Dorn, retired as a Captain with the St Louis Metropolitan Police Department, after working his way up through the ranks over 38 years. He then became the Chief of Police for Moline Acres Police Department for almost 6 years. David always had a strong reputation of taking care of his officers and friends.
OUR MISSION After David Dorn's murder, his wife Ann felt the desire to honor her late husband, David. Looking back at the positive impact the St Louis Police Foundation had on St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officers, Ann felt this would be a perfect avenue to continue David’s passion of “taking care of his officers.”
OUR TEAM Ann Dorn, Founder and President. (Widow of Capt. David Dorn)Ann is a retired Sergeant with the St Louis Metropolitan Police Department after 28 years of service.
Gary Foster, Vice-President. Gary is a retired Sergeant with the St Louis Metropolitan Police Department after 32 years of service.
